Brief:
Welcome Week is the first week of every semester at Belhaven. During this time several campus events throughout the week are advertised both by social media and graphics on monitors around campus. During my internship for university relations, I was tasked with creating 4 of these. They needed to be easy to read, have appropriate imagery, and contain the welcome week logo.

Process:
All graphics were done in Adobe Illustrator. For the morning workout graphic, I first found an appropriate stock image and simply used the school's brand colors (gold and green). I then made a rough vector for the border surrounding the image. For the movie night graphic, I converted text using the 3D tool. After finding a reference vector, I created the camera and the spotlight. The Jackson Tours graphic was created by using a clipping mask inside the magnifying glass. I then overlayed a map with lowered opacity. For the last graphic I simply used illustrations and found a suitable color scheme. For all graphics, I wanted to ensure the text had a clear heretical structure and was easily readable from a distance.

Challenges:
Many graphics required revisions with the movie graphic having to be redone entirely.

Outcome:
The graphics were approved by the rest of University Relations and were shown on the screens and social media. This project assisted my understanding of graphics
